Our commitment to accessibility

Browser and device accessibility features

LuxID is designed to be compatible with the accessibility tools built into your browser and operating system. These include:

• Screen readers - LuxID pages are built to work with assistive technologies such as screen readers.
• Text scaling - Increase the text size in your browser or device settings for better readability. LuxID interfaces adapt to your chosen text size.
• High-contrast mode - Use your operating system's high-contrast or inverted colour settings for improved visibility.
• Keyboard navigation - LuxID supports keyboard-only navigation for users who cannot use a mouse.

You do not need to configure anything in LuxID for these features to work - they follow your browser and device settings automatically.

Light and dark mode

LuxID allows you to switch between light and dark mode. You can find the toggle icon in the header of the LuxID pages.

Dark mode reduces screen brightness and can be easier on the eyes, especially in low-light environments. It can also help users with light sensitivity.

Accessibility preferences for LuxID Partners

Planned feature

We plan to let you save your accessibility preferences - such as preferred contrast, text size, or colour theme - in your LuxID Account. When you sign in to a LuxID Partner service, you will be able to share these preferences with that Partner, with your consent. The Partner can then apply them automatically, giving you a more consistent and fluent experience across every site you use with LuxID, without reconfiguring accessibility settings for each service separately.
