Change your language settings

LuxID services are available in English, French, German, and Luxembourgish. You can change the display language to your preferred language at any time.

Change your web language

1. Go to your LuxID Account (opens in a new tab).
2. Go to Settings.
3. Under Languages > Display language, select your preferred language.
4. Save your changes.

The page reloads automatically with your chosen language.

How LuxID uses your language settings

Your language preference applies to the LuxID interface itself (sign-in pages, account management, notifications). It does not automatically change the language of LuxID Partner services, as partners may support different languages than LuxID. However, some LuxID Partners may request your preferred language (with your consent) in order to preset their service in the same language.

Fix problems with changing language

• The language change did not work - Clear your browser's cache and cookies, then set the language again.
• Your language is not listed - LuxID is available in English, French, German, and Luxembourgish. We are working on further languages that are relevant to our users. If yours is not yet available, select one of the supported languages in the meantime. If you feel a particular language should be prioritised, let us know.
• You use a mobile device - Changes to your preferred language in your LuxID Account apply to the web interface. To change the language for mobile apps, update the language settings on your device.
