Signing in settings

Signing in to LuxID

You can sign in to your LuxID Account and LuxID Partner services using the following methods:

• Email and password - Sign in with your LuxID identifier (email address) and password at login.luxid.lu (opens in a new tab).
• Passkeys - Use your device's built-in authentication (fingerprint, face recognition, PIN), a password manager that supports passkeys, or a physical security key (such as YubiKey) for a faster, more secure sign-in experience. Learn more about passkeys.

Manage your sign-in settings

To review and update your sign-in preferences:

1. Go to your LuxID Account (opens in a new tab).
2. Go to Security.
3. Review your sign-in methods, password, and 2-Step Verification settings. Learn how to set up 2-Step Verification.

Reset your password

If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it at the password reset page (opens in a new tab).

Verify your identity for sensitive actions

When you perform sensitive actions such as changing your password or updating your security settings, LuxID may ask you to verify your identity again.
